Seaham Hall, Durham 

The North-eastern luxury 5 star hotel and spa is the perfect destination for any relaxation lover.

The Serenity Spa is designed to nurture the mind, body and soul with its 20-metre pool, eucalyptus steam room and sauna, and even a Zen Garden complete with a hydrotherapy pool. There are also outdoor hot tubs, waterbeds, a fitness studio, an Asian herbal samarium and more.

Treatments at the spa start at £95 and range from facials to a top-to-toe massage, they even offer services for mums to be.

Spa days can be enjoyed throughout the year with plenty of tailored experiences on offer including their ‘midweek twilight spa’ from £95 which includes access to the spa from 6pm-10pm and a two-course dinner in the Pan Asian Ozone Restaurant.

Their ‘weekend escape full spa day’ starts at £195 and includes access to the full spa facilities (including outdoor hydropool) and a two-course lunch at Ozone.

Gilpin Hotel & Lake House

The treatments on offer range from aromatherapy massages which are priced at £90 for 50 minutes, to an ESPA hot stone reviver which is £140 for 80 minutes which includes a full body aromatherapy massage with hot stones and a scalp massage. O.P.I beauty treatments are also available from the spa.
