Owned by much-loved chef and television personality Paul Ainsworth, the Padstow Townhouse in Padstow, Cornwall, merges high-end luxury accommodation with the brilliant cookery of the chef himself.
Paul, whose pub the Mariners Public House holds fifth place on the Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropubs list – a sister title to Top 50 Boutique Hotels – has created a fun and sumptuous place for guests to stay.
The boutique hotel features six uniquely styled suites that are filled with luxurious furnishings and, of course, indulgent treats.
Each of the suites is named after a classic dessert or sweet treat, including Rhubarb & Custard, Toffee Apple and Honeycomb.
They are kitted out with the best fixtures and fittings to ensure your stay is nothing less than perfect, and each come with a breakfast hamper for two.
Each room also has fully stocked minibars and other delicious treats to ensure your belly is filled whenever the munchies come calling.
But just in case the provisions in your room aren’t enough, the Padstow Townhouse has its very own Kitchen Pantry, open to all guests to enjoy throughout their stay.
All guests also have the opportunity to dine at one of Paul’s fine eateries, including No.6, Caffè Rojano and the Mariners Public House. We’d suggest you spend at least three nights at the Padstow Townhouse, just so you can dine in each of these unbelievable establishments.
Should you wish to treat your four-legged friend to a lovely trip away to this stunning part of the UK, then two of the hotel’s rooms are dog friendly and all guests need to do is ask on booking.
But we’re not finished extolling the virtues of this natty little boutique hotel, Padstow Townhouse also offers guests spa treatments courtesy of Wave Therapy.
Treatments will take place in the comfort of your suite and range from full-body deep tissue massages to skin therapies and facials.
