It’s been a spectacular year for Moor Hall after being named UK’s Best Restaurant at The Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards for the second year in a row. As well as having 2 Michelin stars and five AA Rosettes, Moor Hall has 2 new accolades to add to the collection which includes making it to number 33 on our inaugural list and winning our Food & Drink award for their bountiful offering.

Chef Patron and mastermind behind the award-winning food, Mark Birchall, creates delicate produce-driven menus inspired by our exceptional surroundings and home-grown ingredients. Moor Hall’s five acres of breath-taking gardens supplies the kitchen with wonderful homegrown treats which inspires the dishes alongside local fresh produce. Mark’s menus showcase his own style of modern British cuisine and reflects the broad culinary experience he has garnered over the last 20 years.

 During your visit you could be dining on Isle of Mull scallop with fermented green tomato, cauliflower and grains or Althorp fallow deer with kale, beetroot and elderberry; ragout and whey; liver and truffled honey. Moor Hall’s neighbourhood restaurant The Barn is also run by Mark Birchall and offers a delicious and varied menu, showcasing the best of seasonal dishes, as well as a great selection of wines & beverages.
