Designed by Nicola Harding, the interiors at The Cavendish Hotel in Baslow are inspired by Chatsworth's art, history and people.
The rooms and broken into five styles, Cosy Rooms, Spacious Rooms, Splendid Rooms, Townhouse and Accessible Accomodation. Within each, you will find grand, yet not overbearing, décor.
You’ll have your choice of several venues to eat in during your stay, including the Gallery Restaurant, the Garden Room, The Kitchen Table and the Private Dining Room. While you can also take afternoon tea should you wish.
The Gallery has three AA Rosettes and is run by Adam Harper, who joined the hotel in 2018 having worked in several high-end venues including the Michelin-starred Fischer’s in Baslow.
If you want to get a little closer to the cooking action, then up to six guests may have a seat at the chef’s table in the kitchen to see how things work during a busy service, a tradition that has run for twenty years. Basically, it is theatre for foodies and will put you at the heart of the action, where you’ll see exactly how the professionals ensure the perfect service is carried out.
