Lochgreen House was built in 1905 for the Morton family who were key players in Ayrshire’s textile industry. In 1950, Lochgreen was purchased by aviation pioneer, David McIntyre and the house stayed in the hands of the McIntyre family until Bill and Cath Costley bought the property in 1989.
